The History Unit for August JLS was Ancient Greece – which we try to line up with the summer Olympics. Because of Covid, both the 2020 Olympics and our History unit were postponed until 2021.
We borrowed some mattresses to have our first ever high jump!
You can see the storm clouds in the pictures above… so for the next rotation, they did the high jump in the pavilion in order to keep the mattresses dry. Not as much space to run, but they had fun anyway!
Hurdles were another favorite!
