Did you know that October 5th is World Teacher’s Day? Every year, in Cameroon, a new fabric is created (in 2 different color choices) for the teachers to wear on October 5th. Fabric was very hard to find this year, so we weren’t able to have matching outfits. Instead we wore our different fabrics –Continue reading “World Teacher’s Day”

December JLS Highlights
Swimming is often mentioned as the highlight for December JLS – so we gave swimming it’s own post. Here are some other classroom highlights: Kindergarten: Our students loved making Gingerbread cookies. Christmas Program
This year, we combined our JLS Christmas Program with the International Church of Yaounde’s (ICCY) worship service on Sunday, December 15th. Some people would tell me that they did not know how I couldContinue reading “Reflections of an itinerant teacher”
