A new pole at last!

One day during rainy season, the electrical pole at FES was noticed to be leaning a bit.  A few day later, and a good storm later, it was noted to be leaning significantly and directly over the walkway and gate to the school.  We called the Maintenance Department and put the request in to the electric company to have the pole replaced as it was clear that termites had been feasting for quite a while on the base of the pole. The gate and walkway became off-limits to students, staff and parents.

Last week, a crew of 6 men brought in a new electric pole.  Here are a few pictures to document it’s arrival.  All is good now :-).
