Friday, January 29, 2021, we celebrated our 100th day of school! We celebrated in lots of ways! (Don’t tell the kids they were doing math most of the day!) Kindergarten class started the morning by finding 100 numbers hidden around the room. Then made their snack of 100 items – 10 each of 10 differentContinue reading “100th Day of School”

A Short visit to France with Food!
Students 2-6 grade have been working on a food unit in French class. They have been learning food vocabulary, verbs that you would use to work with food, and got to put in all into practice by creating their own snack. Students worked in groups to create a healthy, delicious, nutritious and easy snack. TheyContinue reading “A Short visit to France with Food!”
Stone Soup
This week the Kindergarten Class talked about the European Folk Tale, “Stone Soup.” They read multiple versions of the story and on Thursday, they made their own stone soup! Every family contributed a part of the soup, and each child got to add their part to the pot. After it was cooked, they all gotContinue reading “Stone Soup”
Recess!
It’s one of their very favorite parts of the day – and they are so creative about how they use their time outside. Plus frisbee, jump ropes, tether ball, basketball, four square, swings…and anything else their imagination can think of!

COVID-19
Just like the whole rest of the world, COVID-19 forced the closing of the Greenhouse in March…we will finish the rest of the school year in a hybrid teacher instructed homeschooling. Lots of one-on-one instruction going on! Some of our staff and students returned to their passport countries – so we are especially thankful forContinue reading “COVID-19”
Playgound progress…

We can’t wait to hear the laughter and the smiles that will accompany the return of our kids to school – and the times playing on theContinue reading “Playgound progress…”
