A termite mound was removed from the rafters of a nearby building in early January.  On the first day of school after Christmas Break, each class at The Greenhouse took a turn studying and dissecting the mound.  Prior to the ‘field work’, each class learned about termites from books borrowed from the school library.  Continue reading “Termites!”

Swimming Lessons!

AUGUST 2015 JLS

The August Joint Learning Session was a great start to our school year!  Home school students and The Greenhouse students were together for three weeks of classroom learning and group events.  Highlights included baseball and art class (see pictures below). We had 46 students from 24 families representing 7 nationalities in kindergarten through grade 6.

Itinerant Teaching in Cameroon

The FES Itinerant Teacher, Carolyn Partridge, faithfully served the FES families for 2 1/2 years.  During the Joint Learning Sessions, Carolyn taught the grade 2 students this past year.
